"By His wounds, We are healed"

"He was pierced for our transgressions,he was crushed for our iniquities;the punishment that bought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.We all,like sheep,have gone astray,each of us has turned to his own way;& the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed & afflicted,yet he did not open his mouth;he was led like a lamb to the slaughter."Is 53:5-7

"With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last. The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, heard his cry and saw how he died, he said, "Surely this man was the Son of God!" Mark 15:37-39

Good Friday. Not a misnomer for a Christian...we know exactly why it is good. It is the day that He took on all of our sins, even though He was perfect. Good Friday, or Holy Friday, is the day He paid it all. I am so thankful that because of who He is, and what He did, I am free! No matter what mistakes we make, He is waiting with open arms. What a blessing. Happy Good Friday everybody!
