We went to watch the Braves and Phillies play this past weekend. We had such a great time!! The game was awesome, the atmosphere was so much fun, and we were right on the 3rd base line--perfect since Chipper plays 3rd base!! Mark and I went hat shopping before we went, and he got a Phillies hat (just to annoy me). I got an old school Braves hat--love it. We got to the stadium about an hour before the game, so we could walk around.
We were in the shade all day--which was great. It wasn't too hot, and the view was amazing. I love how the guys pick out a particular song to play when they are walking up to bat. It was so much fun. The first Braves player to get walked--they played that rap song "Walk it out!!" The Braves ended up winning!! Mark had to hear that all the way home. (not that he cared--he didn't even know anyone who played for the Phillies)
After the game, we went and stayed with some of our best friends--Lindsay and Eric (Qtip and LT) We had so much fun! We cooked out, played cards, and watched some NFL football!! We also watched the movie Role Models...really goofy movie. (Sean Williams Scott) We had a blast. It is nice to get away every now and then...but that Atlanta traffic made me realize that there is no place like home!!
All in all, it was a great weekend...busy and fast pace--just like I like it.
